TKOR Classroom, LLC (“TKOR Classroom,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates tkorclassroom.com (the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have regarding your information. By using the Platform or submitting any form on this site, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

This policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions, which govern your use of the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account registration: first name, last name, email address, password, and role (student or teacher/creator)
  • Giveaway entry: first name, email address, age confirmation (18+), and optional education type
  • Profile information: profile photo, bio, subjects, and other optional details
  • Class enrollment: course selections and enrollment history
  • Payment information: billing details entered during checkout (processed by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers)
  • Contact forms: name, email, and message content
  • Communications: messages sent to teachers, support requests, and community posts

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Platform, we and our third-party partners automatically collect:

  • Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers
  • Usage data: pages visited, links clicked, time spent, referring URLs
  • Session recordings and heatmaps: via Microsoft Clarity, which records mouse movements, scrolling, and clicks to help us improve the Platform (see Section 5)
  • Advertising and conversion events: via Facebook Pixel, which tracks actions such as page views and form submissions to measure ad performance
  • UTM and campaign parameters: source, medium, campaign, and content values from URLs used to reach the Platform
  • Cookies and local storage: used for authentication sessions, preferences, and analytics (see Section 6)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account and verify your identity
  • Process giveaway entries and select and notify winners
  • Process payments and fulfill class enrollments and subscriptions
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, purchase receipts, class reminders)
  • Send marketing and promotional emails you have consented to receive, including newsletters, new classes, and platform updates
  • Analyze Platform usage and improve our products, features, and content
  • Personalize your experience and recommend relevant content
  • Prevent fraud, enforce our Terms & Conditions, and protect the security of the Platform
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party vendors who process data on our behalf. These vendors are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us:

4.2 Creators / Teachers

When you enroll in a class, your name and email address may be shared with the Creator who teaches that class for the purposes of class management and communication.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of TKOR Classroom, our users, or others.

4.4 Business Transfers

If TKOR Classroom, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the Platform before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how users interact with the Platform. Clarity records sessions (mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling) and generates heatmaps. This data is anonymized and used solely to improve Platform usability. Microsoft may use this data to improve their own products and services. 6. Cookies

We use the following types of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Authentication cookies: HttpOnly, Secure cookies that keep you logged in. These are essential for the Platform to function.
  • Analytics and session recording: Microsoft Clarity uses cookies to identify sessions and record browsing behavior.
  • Advertising pixels: The Facebook Pixel uses cookies and browser storage to track conversions and build advertising audiences.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect Platform functionality (such as staying logged in).

7. Email Communications

By providing your email address through any form on the Platform — including giveaway entry, account registration, or contact forms — you consent to receive email communications from TKOR Classroom, LLC. Our emails fall into two categories:

  • Transactional emails: Account confirmations, password resets, purchase receipts, and class reminders. These are required to operate your account.
  • Marketing emails: Newsletters, giveaway updates, new class announcements, and promotions. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in any marketing email.

We send email via Postmark. We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. We will never sell or rent your email address to third parties for their own marketing.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

The Platform is intended to be operated by adults (18+) on behalf of their families. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

Child accounts for students participating in classes may only be created by a parent or guardian who accepts our Terms & Conditions on the child's behalf. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information to us without parental consent, please contact us at privacy@tkorclassroom.com and we will promptly delete it.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g., Stripe payment records for tax purposes).

Giveaway entry data is retained for 12 months after the giveaway closes to comply with sweepstakes recordkeeping requirements.

10. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information through your account settings or by contacting us
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal information
  • Opt-out of marketing emails: Click “Unsubscribe” in any marketing email, or contact us
  • Data portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format

10.1 California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To submit a CCPA request, email privacy@tkorclassroom.com.

11. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
  • Hashed and salted passwords (we never store plain-text passwords)
  • HttpOnly and Secure session cookies to prevent client-side access
  • Database access controls and encrypted connections
  • Rate limiting and bot protection on authentication endpoints

No system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

12. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, social media profiles, or Creator websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
